Tom is a licensed personal and commercial insurance agent and the proud founder of Mercer Agency PLLC. After feeling called to make a meaningful difference in his community, he transitioned into the insurance industry in 2022.
Before launching Mercer Agency, Tom enjoyed a fulfilling career in the athletic footwear, apparel, and equipment industry with market-leading global brands adidas and Riddell, as well as a few start-up/entrepreneurial organizations. His previous career required numerous moves: Madison, Portland, Seattle, and Chicago, before deciding to make metro Detroit home.
When he’s not at the office or working with clients, Tom loves spending time with his family. He also enjoys coaching basketball at Grosse Pointe South High School and is actively involved in local community organizations.
