Jan "G.O.A.T." Downs

Jan is a licensed insurance advisor, who specializes in maintaining great relationships with clients and prospective clients.  She has been with Farm Bureau Insurance for over 12 years and thankfully decided to postpone retirement to play a critical role in helping build the Mercer Agency.  Clients appreciate Jan’s willingness to go the extra mile and the way she remains positive, no matter the challenge faced.  Jan has been married for almost 40 years and has a daughter who is the light of her life.  When not at the office, Jan is poking around used bookstores, flea markets, and antique shops looking for treasures to upcycle, or making a big mess and creating fabulous things in her art studio.
